The festival is a kind of small concentration of life, even when it seems that everything around has lost its meaning. And we, the people behind the creation of Open Art, have a lot to say.

At the festival, you can see the works of authors from different cities and countries - Russia, Spain, Great Britain and others. Each and every one of them, in their own way, explains where the line between freedom and restrictions lies, using their own way of expression. Artist Dany Dee (Spain) uses graphics to touch upon the perception of the body as an indestructible object, and Olga Shcheblanova, in her photographic works, refers to the experience of being nonbinary, which very often turns out to be not accepted by society.

Guests from Yekaterinburg Anna Plyusnina and Alla Chikinda will present the Words Matter project at the festival. The participants of the project are people who have experienced homophobia and transphobia in the form of insults. By tradition, foreign participants present their new works at the festival. They have something to surprise us. British artist Victoria Suvorova will bring three new works to the festival. A collaborative project between Norwegian artists Tove-Marie and Trine Midtliechallenges gender stereotypes and cultural conventions.

In addition to the exposition, which you will be able to see during all three days, lecturers, musicians, performers will perform on the stage. Artist El Gard will give a master class on drawing comics. As part of the Literary Salon, poetry and prose addressed to queer optics will be performed, and everyone will be able to take part with their works in an open microphone format.

You can see the unique works of more than 20 artists, participate in creative workshops and discussions only by visiting our festival!
